Disinfectant With Broad Spectrum Antiseptic Power
- Properties
Ensures the potent antiseptic activity of iodine through its slow elimination. The iodophore solution cleanses the skin at the same time as the available iodine exerts its antibacterial effect. It has the advantages of iodine but no local irritant action. Its tinctorial action is mild and easily washed off with water. It is non-toxic by ingestion. It presents excellent solubility in water, reduced reactivity with metals, and enhanced germicidal activity even at low concentrations. It is effective at low temperatures. It is not inactivated in the presence of organic matter as it happens with other disinfectants and penetrates deeply into cracks, crevices and roughness. It has high penetrating power, easily removes dirt, and is not affected by water hardness or detergents.
- Application and Ways of Use
The product is used pure or diluted in water. Indicated for:– Washing of hands and forearms and nails of surgical personnel.– Disinfection of operating rooms, delivery rooms, washing by circular brushing of walls and fixed elements leaving them to dry, in case of washing metals they are rinsed with water, in case of floors they are left to dry.– Cleaning of animal baths, feeding and drinking troughs, pigeon houses, corrals, cages, kennels, boxes, incubators (wash egg trays before use), footwear disinfection basins, computer hands, antisepsis of facilities, instruments and equipment in laboratories and veterinary hospitals.– Disinfection in operating rooms by air spraying.

15% for disinfection of operating rooms or farrowing rooms. 5% for feeders, drinkers, corrals.
